BROOKLYN[IL] • Brooklyn Police are investigating a fatal shooting outside a strip club early Sunday morning.

Authorities said Walter Henry Taylor Jr., 23, of East St. Louis, was found fatally shot outside the Pink Slip at 3:28 a.m. The club is in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.

Brooklyn Police Chief Calvin Hammond said the shooting followed a fight. A suspect was not in custody. Authorities are looking at surveillance video to determine what happened.

The Illinois State Police are assisting in the investigation.
