CARLISLE TOWNSHIP[Ohio] — A man stole money from a Brass Pole security guard on Wednesday night, according to a Lorain County Sheriff's Office report.

The strip club security guard said he stepped outside to take a smoke break and he saw a Pontiac Vibe pull into the parking lot about 11:58 p.m. on Wednesday. Two women and five men got out of the car. One of the men then reached into the security guard's pocket and stole an envelope containing $235. The guard told officers the stolen money was earnings from dancer fees for the female entertainment.

The suspect ran west and the guard chased him, grabbed his shirt and threw punches, the report said. When two other men approached him in an aggressive manner so he backed off and the suspect ran east toward Oberlin Elyria Road. The other people got in the car and drove off.

The incident was caught on video. Officers located the suspect's vehicle down the road. The vehicle owner, Scarlett Zimmerman, 26, of Cleveland, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, according to the report.

One of the passengers said suspect asked them for a ride to the Brass Pole in exchange for $5. Deputies did not locate the suspect

    How does one steel money from a brass pole? Did someone put money inside the pole?
