Buying Viagra from an on line pharmacy. Good news.

Since Pfizer has managed to get it's patent extended until 2019, I deceided to look into ordering from a pharmacy in a foreign country to beat the price. Pfizer and the FDA certainly did not have us senior citizens best interests at heart. Many of us are on fixed retirement incomes with no RX drug coverage. $20 a pop can get expensive fast. Maybe we are just supposed to roll over and play dead. Not me. I am going to keep playing. I had some aprehensions. Is is leagal? Is it safe to use? Is a RX needed? Does it work? And what will it cost? On advice from two friends, I felt it was worth taking a chance. Just before my recent road trip, I got my RX for Viagra refilled at a Kroger pharmacy. $180 for 9 100mg tablets. I went home and immeditately whent on line and ordered some from a pharmacy in India. I ordered 120 100mg tablets. The cost with delivery insurance was $127.75. Shipping by registered mail was free. My order was processed on May 2 and confirmed by email. I paid by VISA and the charge was processed on May 4. The billing was done by a bank in BeiJing, China. My credit union charged me a small fee for international transaction. Bringing my total to $130.18. The actual shipping was confirmed by email. My order arrived at my house yesterday. It came in two envelopes and the punch out cards were wrapped in bubble wrap. The customs declaration labeled them as "Personal health care products". The value on each envelope was stated as $5. The return address was Budapest, Hungary. The two envelops contain a total of 130 100mg tablets. That works out to $1 a pill. So do they work? I went to my favorite club today to test them out. YES they work every bit as good as the Pfizer product. There were no side effects. I am completly satisfied with this process. For those interested, here is the URL for the pharmacy that I used. @ $20 each - yeah fuck Pfizer. But India, Beijing, and Budapest? The risk of fakes seems high.

Normally I would say the risk isn't worth it... but damn, $19/per saved? Hard to argue with that.

What I've read the patent for the active chemical ran out in 2012. The usage patent as an ED drug runs out in 2019. The same drug marketed under another name is available in generic for a certain type of high BP. Is it ethical for doctors to write prescriptions fir that?

Ethical for them to write it to give you wood? No, not at all.

motorhead - I was aware of that and doubt that most M.D.s would stick their heads out. Plus I am alrady taking BP meds for mildly high BP. Until that patent finally runs out, I don't see the price of U.S. ED meds coming down much, if at all.

sc, BP medications can have a negative effect. I quit taking my BP medication after I dropped over 50 lbs. Since then my BP has been fine.

Clubber - My BP runs around 125/70 with a mild dose of meds. If I quit smoking, I could probably quit the BP meds but I probably won't. :)

Also be aware that Pfizer recommends using the lowest dosage possible to achieve the desired results. I used to routinely get the job done by taking a bite (25-35mg) out of a 100mg tablet. So depending on the severity of your ED, you might be able to use real Viagra at a cost of $5-$7 per club visit..... I have ordered generics from India in the past, and some actually worked a little better than Viagra as far as making wood, but they made me "flush" - my face turned red, and it stayed that way for several hours. Not to worry, as Viagra warns that it could do that as well, but I was usually greeted at home by the general with something like, "gee, honey were you out in the sun today; you got sunburned". Bad news if it was a cloudy day.

I too had that flush feeling in my face for an hour or so after popping a Viagea. I did not get that yesterday with the India generic.

Che - I considered those risks. I also considerded the fact that I am 70 yo. Will I still be around when the Pfizer patent does expire? I'm gonna live my life to the fullest until I am too old to do so.

Thanks for sharing - Viagra costs me 24.50 thru Walgreens Pharmacy, and I have another source at $20. I booked marked your site. As I am VIP at an extras friendly club I can always do a "test shot" vs taking a chance at an otc meeting. I take BP meds and dropped Lexipro (antidepressant) a coupla years back bc it was causing DE (tough to get off). Anything to keep the greedy USA pharm industry from hosing us is appreciated. SC I admire your philosophy of living life to the fullest. A friend of mine M, 73 is also a hobbyist and has the same philosophy. He recently had bladder cancer and had a part of his bladder removed along with his prostrate. You would think this would finish him but with a special suction pump to get his dick up he is back in biz and has them over to his house. The girls are excited as ever bc they like to c him pump his dick up and they think its bigger than b4.

@Player11: You have my sympathies. Lexapro is a bitch on the brain and body. After 30 days off the drugs - everything in my life got better.

I'm a big fan of generics, counterfeits, and self-medication, but I agree you have to weigh the risks. As for the ripoffs, I have some sympathy for Pfizer. It can cost half a billion to bring a drug to market and they have to recoup the development cost.

Just checked out the website and 60 Cialis + 4 Viagra for $113 with shipping? Are you kidding me? I have been paying $26 each for the Cialis 20 mg! For less than I usually spend at a SC, I am going to try it. BTW, has there been a Cialis vs Viagra discussion? I prefer the Cialis for the longer lasting effect.
