LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was shot and killed by a security guard outside a topless bar in Lancaster on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at Snooky's on the 42000 block of Sierra Highway. It was still unclear Monday what led the security guard to open fire, though deputies did say the security guard felt the patron posed an immediate threat.
The patron died on the scene and the guard was detained for questioning.
Detectives are now trying to determine if the shooting was justified.
