PHOENIX - Phoenix police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a man early Thursday morning at a strip club.

According to Phoenix police Lt. Barbara Terry, officers responded to a call for shots fired around 2 a.m. at the Pantera Show Club near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

When officers arrived, they reportedly saw a man being loaded into a car.

The officers followed the car to the hospital where the victim died, Terry said, adding that the victim's friend was the one who drove him to the hospital.

Police said the man was confronted by another person outside of the club and was shot. It's unclear what the motive was.

Homicide detectives were on scene of the incident. There's no suspect description at this time.

Gangster culture taking over. In the 70's it was perverts. In the 80's-90's it was wall street/monied. These days, seems to be people who cannot find pants that fit.

Yup, that's a 2AMer! But of the traditional variety: shot OUTSIDE of the club.
