Police Investigate Report of Assault at Gold Club[strip]

10:37 a.m. EDT, September 4, 2011 A man was pulled from his car in the Gold Club Parking lot on West Service Road, beaten with a baseball bat and robbed early Sunday morning.
Police say, they responded to an assault and robbery at 1:32 a.m.
The first suspect is described as a large, 6' 2' black man wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt and a black baseball cap with red lettering on the front. Police said he opened the car door and pulled the victim to the ground and hit him in the face multiple times with a baseball bat.
Police said the second suspect described as a thin 5' 8'' black man wearing a black t-shirt and a 'do-rag reached into the car and took the some of the victim's personal property.
The suspects are possibly driving a gold colored early 2000 model Nissan or Toyota, police said.
The man was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening facial injuries. His car was taken to Crime Scene Division Processing for further investigation, police said.
