Twelve Men Arrested Soliciting Prostitution

The St. Mary's County Vice Narcotics Division continuously monitors activity on the Internet and social networking sites for criminal activity in the St. Mary's County area. There was an increase in the presence of individuals requesting sexual encounters for money. An operation was formed and the following persons were arrested for solicitation of prostitution:

Dion Gabriel Blair –Age 42 of Patuxent River, Maryland

Brian O'Neil Tichenor –Age 33 of Lexington Park

Bruce Robert Scott –Age 54 of Indian Head, Maryland

Jason Lavoy Daughrity –Age 32 of Lexington Park, Maryland

Michael Alan Littleton –Age 33 of Lexington Park, Maryland

David Angelo Orazio- Age 50 of Lexington Park, Maryland

Juan Carlos Monserrate –Age 34 of California, Maryland

James Ewing Menke Jr.-Age 44 of Pasadena, Maryland

William John Vincena Jr. –Age 43 of California, Maryland

Richard Lee Aker –Age 50 of Prince Frederick, Maryland

William Carlos Licurgo –Age 29 of Colonial Beach, Virginia

Brian Edward Vest –Age 51 of Baltimore, Maryland

In a phone interview with Capt. D. Alioto, Commander of the Vice Narcotics Unit of BCI, Alioto stated, "We picked the timing of this because this time of year we see an increase in fraud, theft and robberies - many of which are initiated on the internet." Alioto indicated that the unit is not a full time unit, but the Internet is monitored regularly and if there is something the unit decides is actionable, they launch an operation. "We also get many tips from people about suspcious activities and by those who have been a victim," said Alioto. "People need to be very careful about how and with whom they transact business on the Internet."

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office wants to take this opportunity to remind the public of the dangers of utilizing the internet for criminal activity. Furthermore, when conducting legitimate business, everyone should use caution when they arrange to meet unknown persons.

LOL troop, I checked to see if there was a "steve" in the list. It is in maryland. Baltimore has some great strip clubs but I have read many charge $50-60 for lap dances, so no wonder why so many guys have turned to escorts and prostitutes.

Because as we all know, prostitution was invented shortly after the Internet became popular. Probably not by Al Gore, though.

Apparently disease has been replaced by fraud.

Enjoying each other for money is a crime when the government doesn't get its cut.

It sounds like the solution to this is just to legalize it and charge a 10% tax that the government can collect. This could come in handy at a desperate time for many states. I can imagine the advertisements on tv.
Come to Baltimore and check out all the hotties online, just remember to pay your tax, if you don't we'll make sure you really get screwed when the taxman pays a visit.
