  I am in the process of purchasing add space. However since this event is taking place tonight and my banner adds has will not be up until next week I have posted this event in the forum area. Please keep a look out for when my banners have been approved and added.

  You wait until the day of the event to buy ads, and then use your lack of foresight to justify cluttering a discussion board with your ersatz ad? Seems might thin to me.
