I seriously started visiting clubs about 10 years ago in my mid 20s. This was a golden pre-covid, pre onlyfans era in strip clubs. Every club was packed with girls of all types. Going to a club on a Thurs, Fri or Saturday night you would have a pick of what type of girl you wanted. From skinny tattooed chicks, to kink friendls girls and large in your face tits it was truly heaven on earth some nights with the quality of talent. I was mostly visiting Portland clubs such as Club Rouge, Lucky Devil Lounge and Spyce. The crowds ranged from the alternative at Lucky Devil, the bros at Spyce and more classy at Club Rouge, but the selection of girls between all three were amazing.
OTC and extras was also at a different level back then. I had three different experiences with girls that I had OTC relationships. I was by no means a high roller in my 20s, but I tipped well and maybe I am a bit vain, but had the tall and athletic builds girls were attracted to. I was able to get ITP play from one girl that I was a regular with for about two months. Then I had three seperate OTC meetups that happened with regular girls I would spend time with in the club, but did not have to pay extra for any OTC meetings. They were ready and willing after spending time with me. It was easy and seamless to find this type of relationship
Fast forward to a post covid world and these same clubs seem to be largely devoid of the talent and class of girls previously seen. Some of this I chalk up to the instagram and onlyfans route. Many of these girls are able to get the same or significantly more cash from the virtual world rather than needing to put in the work at the local clubs. Don't get me wrong there still is the occasional night where it brings me back to a decade ago, but its fewer and farther in between. There have been many times I have showed up on a Friday or Saturday at prime time and the clubs are dead when in the past it was hard to find a seat.
With some perspective there are advantages to slower nights at the club. Girls are easier to nail down for dances and VIP, but its not the same experience of the past. The irony is now I have more finances and often spend more money now, but the OTC experiences have all but vanished for me. There is less mileage in the same clubs than there used to be. I don't know if there is a solution to this change, but it is disappointing and has led to less and less visits over the past few years. I long for the boom of the days of old.
The talent is lower and there are fewer girls, but there is more mileage compared to the past.
In the 2000s and 2010s, you couldn't touch the dancers in most US strip clubs (you had to travel to Canada for that), whereas now this has restriction has been lifted for the most part in a lot of places. Still not completely, but I can see the contrast to several decades ago, when men had to keep their hands at their sides in most clubs. The expression "Look but don't touch" was commonplace.
But the girls these days are uglier, more tattoed, and more deviant, you're right about that. They used to be hotter, but the mileage was less.
Something I haven't seen anyone write about is the shutdown of massage parlors in the US that occurred around 2010-2012. Whereas strip clubs in the US used to be conservative, massage parlors (with attractive and non-Asian women) were widely available and provided full-contact intimacy. But they got largely shut down, at least here on the East Coast, around 2010. My own view is that US strip clubs have liberalized as compensation for this shutdown of massage parlors.
