I’ve been working in the clubs for four years. I’m soon to be on my way out. Not by choice, but because the club scene and economy is not what it used to be. Every month i’ve worked less and less days…. 💔

it was maybe my second month dancing. on a Wednesday night of all nights. A very attractive woman and very attractive man sit down at the bar. The stage is right behind the bar so they have no choice but to be sitting at my stage show.

The man gets up, but I make eye contact with the woman. I asked her from the stage “are you a dancer?” she replies “I used to be.” she wasn’t wearing anything a dancer would, mind you. she was just so strikingly beautiful and i don’t see many couples in this club. “you are SO gorgeous!” i told her. i keep moving sexy on stage doing tricks, occasionally glancing at the couple.

When i got off i felt like i just gravitated towards them. We need plenty of small talk about our interests and music that we like. We all liked EDM. “we’re actually going to a club in brooklyn friday night…” they started to tell me. “wait, i’m going to be in Brooklyn friday night too!!!!” turns out we were going to the same event!

we wasted no time getting a private room together. I never had an experience with a woman before so I was very excited. i gladly went down on her, doing what i knew from pornos and what i knew i wanted done to myself. she seemed to enjoy it. the husband watched. the wife was begging for me to include him, and i was glad that she trusted me. she could tell i was into her more than anything. we both got on our knees and looked up to see his handsome face looking back at us. “do that thing i like babe” i guess she had a few tricks up her sleeve. we got him off really quickly. and they ended up booking more time with me just to hang out.

i ended up seeing them at the edm club that friday. and once more after that but nothing sexual. i miss them. i keep in touch on social media. i don’t really do this type of stuff with customers regularly, but they were special. i’d do anything to have another night like that with them.

@jayteedee at one of my clubs, there would be several people getting bottle service on friday/Saturday night always. i’ve been seeing less and less bottle service customers. there’d be a lot of regulars in both the clubs i’ve worked in, and they just disappeared. a lot of them moved to more affordable states, and a lot of them just don’t have the extra money to be spending. a lot of customers tell me they’ve stopped drinking to lose weight. not many new customers have come in to replace the old regulars. and lastly, a lot of girls have left the industry to pursue other careers.

Thanks for responding! In the Atlanta clubs, I see fewer of the "whales" -- regulars who would get a reserved table or booth and spend untold amounts on dancers and drinks. Sounds like you aren't seeing them replaced by younger customers with the same spending habits as the older ones retire. Looking at the clubs' IG accounts, they all want these customers (Bottle Specials! Reserve a table for your group! Free section on your birthday!)

There are discussions on this site complaining about increased prices for club entry, dances, VIP, etc. I can see why the "whales" are essential to the club ecosystem, and maybe the price increases are a response to declining numbers of big spenders.

What do you hear from the girls who are leaving for other careers -- where are they going? OnlyFans, sugaring, or leaving sex work completely?

@jayteedee Im on Long Island and we are seeing the exact same stuff happening here. i think these clubs are only surviving off of the guys who come in for a fun friday/saturday night and then never back again. meanwhile i live in a small suburban area and not a city, so we rely more on REGULARS not travelers or one and done type of clientele.

most girls who left my club have left for totally unrelated industries. they left for the beauty field, vet tech, nursing, etc. i’m gonna try a few other clubs in my area, and try to focus on my online pages, before i call it quits. i’ve tried my college’s dental hygiene program and it just didn’t work out.
