I am officially in my late 60s and I make no "bones" about it (so to speak): ED meds are part of my life and have been for a while. If you're not at that stage of life, and never expect to be, this article is probably a waste of time for you.

Also, this is a very YMMV topic. Male response to these meds can be highly idiosyncratic, depending not only upon age but specific health issues and overall health, metabolism, etc. But, readers might find my experience with a somewhat head-to-head comparisons of Cialis and Viagra of interest.

I have a legit prescription from my physician for 5 mg daily use Cialis which is supposed to help bladder function, so I don't have to pee multiple times a night. And guess what: It works. Since I started to use it I almost never have to get up more than once a night, and often not even that.

I don't rely solely on the 5 mg Cialis for sexual function, though. For quite q while, I've been purchasing 20 mg Cialis off the books for that purpose. I realize that using both the 5 and 20mg would be Against Medical Advice, if I ever asked for it, which I didn't. I've been around long enough that I'm willing to take a few chances. If you think it's incredibly stupid, that's fine.

I happen to get the 20 mg Cialis from RocketRX, but there are tons of sites like it. Their website asks you a handful of questions, some captive doctor somewhere makes a "diagnosis", supposedly based on the responses to the questions, and signs off on a prescription and they mail you the meds.

My strategy in answering the questions is to avoid anything that might suggests the meds are contraindicated and to select the second-worst medical condition available. I figure if you report that you "usually" have difficulty getting and maintaining erections, they're likely to sell you the strongest available dose, which is what I want. If you say you can never get an erection, maybe that would spook them and they'd tell you to see a real doctor. Of course, for all I know, you can say anything and they'll still sell you whatever you want.

20 mg Cialis is supposed to be effective up to 36 hours, but I take one every day I'm expecting to have sex, even consecutive days. Works great the first day, at least for a single pop. Another pill on the second day generally works OK, but somewhat less reliable. Third pill on third consecutive day is more of a crapshoot. I don't count on getting multiple pops on a single day, even on Day One, except maybe for a HJ, but I'm not taking these pills to get HJs.

Another thing is, even on Day One, if I have more than one drink, probability of success declines greatly. I generally don't even try if I'm on my third drink.

I recently decided to give 100 mg Viagra a try, overlaid on the 5mg daily Cialis, and Boy Howdy what a difference. First outing, 3 pops with 3 different women over 18 hours. Haven't hit that pace in over 40 year. Admittedly, I took one pill in the evening and another early the following afternoon, but it was worth it. And the second pop on Day One was after I had 4 drinks. I bought the Viagra from Friday Plans, which also uses a phony "diagnosis" website like RocketRX.

One downside of Viagra for me is the physiological effects. It makes me agitated, like drinking way too much coffee. Cialis has never had a noticeable effect on me, even taking a 20 mg the same day as the 5 mg.

Anther issue is the supposedly narrower window of effectiveness for Viagra. Both meds are supposed to take effect within an hour, but the effects of Viagra supposedly peak at 2 hours , and wane over the next 2-3 hours. So, you need to more carefully game plan when you take it relatively to when you expect to need it. With Cialis, I can take it first thing in the morning and count on it lasting till late in the evening.

Finally, while Viagra seems to shorten the refractory period relative to Cialis, is does nothing for the desensitization associated with recent sexual activity. I've had a couple occasions where I have been pounding away with a hard dick and felt no urge to cum. Getting finished with a HJ works eventually but, again, that's not what I'm looking for. And it doesn't really do the woman any good, either. I like to get women off via intercourse, but if it hasn't happened after 10 minutes or so, it likely isn't going to, and if it has happened, they're likely going to want to wrap things up, especially in a P4P situation. They also might take it as an insult. Besides, who wants to spring for a 30 minute room if they don't have to?

I should give Cialis a try, but I’ve been using Viagra 100 mg but I bite them in half. sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn’t. At 75 is certainly don’t have the hardness of a young man anymore. I’m trying nugenic and a couple other things trying to clean out my blood vessels.

Have you heard of sildenafil? Over the counter but the active ingredient in viagra. I worked for a sec toy store in Texas for a bit and we sold it for $18/pack (single doses) in the form of little fruity jelly packets.
