How to Get a Dancer’s Attention (From a Dancer Herself)

Listen up! As a dancer from VA with 3 years of Gentleman's clubs, I feel like a know a thing or two about the SC world. So here's how to get us to pay attention to you while in the club! You’re in the club music’s loud lights are everywhere and there’s a whole bunch of girls on stage and walking around. So, what do you do to get us to look your way?
First, eye contact! If you’re sitting there all stiff staring into your drink or pretending you’re too cool to look at anyone we’re probably gonna pass you up. It's nothing personal, but it happens. Look at us and smile, maybe nod a little when we glance your way, that's the greenest light ever. A smile can change the way your whole visit goes!
Second, be where we can see you! If you’re all the way in the back corner hiding behind a group of dudes. we’re not climbing over chairs to find out if you wanna dance, chat, or hang out. Get yourself a seat near the stage or somewhere out in the open. Be approachable! The girls will come to ya if you do! You don’t have to throw cash right away but if you’re tipping during stage sets even just a little it shows respect and tells us you might be worth chatting up. :)
Biggest thing though is don’t be weird, PLEASE. No snapping your fingers, no grabbing, no yelling. I know we're sexy but do that in VIP, not while we're trying to work for your enjoyment. That’ll get you ignored or bounced, and all the girls will talk about how the guy in the blue sweatshirt was disrespectful. If you want a private dance just ask politely! We don't bite (usually :)) )
One more thing, don’t expect us to read your mind! If you’re into someone just say it. There's been nights when I never knew a giy was even interested in me, and then as im about to get dressed and go home I hear "hey, you still doing dances? I've been watching you all night!"
That's pretty much it from my perspective, have a great one ya'll!

Thanks, great short article, right to the point. Mostly common sense, but great for the new guys.
