Standing post at the stage.

Sometimes you go to a strip club and everything feels perfect. The music is the right tempo and volume. Most of the dancers are beautiful. Drinks are cheap. Your nose isn't burning from too much cigarette smoke.

There's a drop dead gorgeous woman dancing on stage and no one is tipping. You're feeling it, you've had 4 or more beers, or a couple of mixed drinks and confidence is high. So you strut up to the stage with some ones in your hand to show your appreciation. She's doing a trick on the pole and you say to yourself, "she doesn't see me". Then she slides down the pole and glides over to the opposite side of the stage and continues her routine. This all takes about 30 seconds, but it feels like 5 minutes.

You feel like a reverse beggar, "please come over and get my dollar". No matter what you do at this point it's too late. You've already crossed The Rubicon. If she finally comes over and accepts your tip, you feel like a looser. If you get angry and walk away from the stage with everyone watching, you feel even worse.

What should we do? Stand fast at the stage and wait to tip, or turn around and walk back to our seat?
