New to the scene, any advice?

I'm going to be going to a club for the first time with a couple of buddies tomorrow at a club in RI and have been looking online for what to expect and ended up here. I have been reading a few of the articles and have started to get a feel for what to expect and how to act, such as what to wear, tipping, extras etc. I am open to any and all advice that you would give a first time club goer. My ultimate goal is to know enough going in that I don't stand out as the obvious new guy and have a good time, which hopefully shouldn't be too difficult.
