Waikiki Strip Club Trip Report July 2019

Hey guys, finally getting around to writing a trip review from 8 days in Waikiki solo. Had a fab time surfing, sunning, drinking, and clubbing. There are five clubs I visited, Rock Za, Club Femme Nu, Hawaii by Night, Club 939, and Ballerinas. Let's talk about Ballerinas and Hawaii by Night. Both of those do not serve booze. Hawaii by night used to be located on Kuhio Blvd one street off the beach. It was closed and relocated nearby. The old one was the bomb! The new location? Meh. Won't go back. Small, hardly any seating, weird layout, ok gals. Got one dance and left. Was ok, not terrible. Ballerinas was the same weird layout. Would not be surprised if the same owners. Scratched those off my return visit list.
So the three remaining alcohol clubs were Cub Rock Za, Club 939, and Femme Nu. Femme Nu and Club Rock Za are about one block from each other so easy to bounce back and forth between them if one club is not that happening so that is kinda convenient. I’ll cover those two clubs first.
One thing to mention is that in the old days in Hawaii there was no real high contact lap dances. They had this weird rule where the girl had to be separated from you blah blah blah. There were no real lap dance areas in any of the clubs. So with the exception of the old Hawaii by Night no-alcohol nude club, it was all air dances. According to one dancer I met who has danced for 8 years it all changed about 3-5 years ago. Now these two clubs and 939 have lap areas. And they even have VIP areas upstairs. More about that later.
Another observation is that there is a heavy emphasis on buying lady drinks. They range from $20 to $40 dollars. A $20 lady drink is a 1/2 booze and alcohol. A $40 lady drink is all alcohol. So buying a $20 lady tequila shot is 1/2 booze and 1/2 water. There are a lot of Filipino male waiters always hovering around pushing drinks. Forget beers, they won't let you buy the gals a beer. Whatevs? So what this means is that there is way more emphasis on getting gents to buy lady drinks then giving high contact lap dances cause she gets a cut of the lady drink sales with little work. So sometimes yer cutie is not that worried about satisfying you when you finally get lap dances. Guess I can't blame them. Easier to order drinks and shoot a pretend shot of mainly water and make a quick $25 without having to work too hard. I try to avoid the lady drink trap but admit it is kinda hard when you are grooving with a hottie and she is thirsty. I bet I dropped at least $200 in lady drinks in my 10 visits to the clubs in 8 days. Oh well, I was on my vacay and wasn’t gonna get all pissy about it.
Another observation is that the girls get totally nude. Not all. Not always. But mostly. So we have 3 full Waikiki alcohol clubs with a full bar and nude stage dancers and sometimes topless or sometimes nude lap dances. IMO that is pretty good. Entry is like $7, beers are $6 or $7, and mixed drinks are $9 or $10. I try not to buy lady drinks but it can be difficult in the heat of the moment.
Another weird thing that happened one night is the Club Femme Nu “Mamasan” decided, “No lap dancing tonight” and the lap areas were shut down. I imagine they were getting some heat or someone forgot to make the payoff so no laps that night. I left that club in a hurry.
Another observation is that in Femme Nu and Rock Za a lot of girls dance on a low stage while performing on a big thick pillow. Guys will sit up close at eye level and as long as he tips $1 ever minute or so, the gal will continue to dance. So for guys who are low in cash or don’t want laps it is kinda like a semi private up close show. At Rock Za one night some rappers were just raining the hell outta dollars with a dancer who was nude and fully spread. When it gets busy there can be 4 to 6 girls up dancing on two stages as both clubs. Guys really tip stage dancers well so they end up with a big pile of ones after a few dances and usually shovel them in to a large purse or bag.
Rock Za or Femme Nu, are similar in size, layout, cover, lighting, lap areas, setup, “Vip areas”, lady drinks, entry fee $7, and both are nude clubs with booze. Since they are so close I just bounced back and forth when I got bored or didn’t like the current line up of one. Rock Za is the busier and nosier of the two clubs and more of a party atmosphere so if I was more in chill mode I would post up at Femme Nu.
So I would say the three clubs are fairly similar in how they operate. All 3 had decent looking women that most of us here on TUSCL would lap with. Mainly Asian, latina, local girls , mixed chicks, and some black chicks. A few white and or European hotties mixed in. Average about 6.5, some 7’s, a few 8’s, and sometimes one or two 9’s. There were however, some ladies that shouldn’t be dancing in the mix.
So as far as my overall experiences with the 3 clubs, it was pretty good once you figured out how everything worked and made adjustments. Some girls I was with didn’t push dances at all just lady drinks. Some were more aggressive in the upsell to laps. Those girls also pushed VIP upstairs. I was like, there is a VIP room upstairs? I only went to one VIP and that was at Femme Nu. Pretty hot tallish Latina with booty and curves to spare and all naturals up top. She has a pretty face, olive skin, and long black hair. Just my type! Great personality and attitude and super fun to talk to. One thing that is fun to talk about is all of my experiences at various strip clubs around the world. They like to hear those stories. Any ways she started pushing for VIP for $3hunny and I figured it was prolly cheaper than buying her lady drinks all night. So off we go. I think I paid Mamasan before we went up.
Ok so check this out. The walk up to the “VIP” room was like that scene in Good Fellas. Remember when Henry takes Karen to a night club and he valets his car and they walk to the front of the club via the kitchen? That is exactly how this was. We walked through an outdoor patio then through a garage and then through some office spaces and then upstairs where they stored furniture and stuff and past a bathroom to a very large room that had a lot of storage and boxes and a large couch for lap dances. Kinda weird but kinda cool as no one bothered us, we could play our own music, and we could smoke out of we wanted. She was dying for some weed but I left it at the hotel. Oh well next time. She was fully nude and the dances were ok not off the chart no complaints but it was late and I was pretty buzzed so just enjoyed the show.
Walked back down, hit the head, and was out the door as it was 2am. Never did another VIP there. Had maybe 6 other sets of dances total between the three clubs. Nothing outstanding but still fun and cool.
Only went to Club 939 once as it is not quite as fun for me as Rock Za and Femme Nu. But still decent with at least one hottie I was entertained by. She was hot but her dances were not. Prolly more in to lady drinks as we did several. Oh well. It is Hawaii and I was on vacay, whaddya gonna do?
Overall Hawaii was a good fun experience now that they have loosened the lap dance rules. No extras on this trip. Great selection of mainly 7’s and 8’s with the occasional 9. Easy to relax, good music, good selection of girls. Def looking forward to a return trip as my bro now lives there so a great excuse to return to Hawaii.

My very first strip club visit was near the Honolulu airport back in 1971 (or maybe it was 1972). I don't recall the name of the club nor the exact location but I do recall it was a set up just like a small theater with a stage and orchestra pit and regular theater seating. this one girl comes out and does a striptease and then when she's totally naked she gets into the shower (also on stage.) at the end she invites one lucky guy to come up and towel her dry. there was never any physical contact with anybody.
