Technically, this was a 8/29/2010 trip report since I arrived at the club at close to 1:00am on a Sunday morning. Decided to make an impromptu visit after driving back from LAX. Just my luck when I had two L.A. Sherriff squad cars shoot by me as I made my left on to Gale Ave., lights blaring and all, and watched them make a right turn with what seemed like the parking lot of where HT was located. I was relieved once I drove up to the lot that they had actually made a right turn on the lot where the supermarket was just a few yards further. Whew!

My visits to HT on Saturday nights are few and far between for obvious reasons - the parking is limited and so is the space in the club. Luckily, there were spots open in front of the club which was a good sign and once I walked in, there was available seating even though it was as busy as I would have expected. Paid for my required drink from the server and scoped out the place. I was on one of those high bench seats along the north side of the wall and I can never seem to get comfortable in those seats since they make your posture all erect (insert Beavis and Butthead laugh here). So I found a seat along one of the couches just in front of the topless lap area and settled in.

Excellent choice of ladies on this evening/morning. Mostly white girls with a splatter of latinas here and there, and no asian dancers to be found. Bella was the first to approach me and was very friendly but declined her dance offer since I had just arrived. Angel then came over and sat next to me in the single couch seat that was open and asked if she could relax. I told her it was cool and we ended up engaged in a decent conversation for a good 30 minutes. Not once did she mention going back for a topless of VIP so I had a good time just relaxing with her. I think she appreciated it too as I bought her a couple of drinks. Cool girl and a strong possibility for a dance the next time because we clicked so well.
