I was there a few years...

I was there a few years ago in the winter. I escaped from Amelia Island resort and luckily hit upon this place. My memory was refreshed reading reviews of all the Jacksonville area strip clubs, and the address is right and the reviews are consistent regarding what I remember. Unfortunately, it appears that the religious right are winning down there, as recent reviews indicate less private VIP areas for lap dances and extras. I wish people would stop trying to save my soul and concentrate on saving their own. I've met alot of strippers in my day, and it's an admirable service industry. The girls are friends, pseudo-lovers, american geishas, they mostly want to make the man feel good, even if he is an asshole. Anyway, they have bills to pay and families to support to. Just because they work in the sex industry is no reason to look down on them. They have more personal integrity then bankers, CEO's, politicians and police combined. If the economic situation in this country was what it should be, but isn't, due to excessive greed, there would be alot less girls dancing to augment their income just to make ends meet. This Doll House is a thoroughly respectful establishment. The girls were divided into two categories when I visited, glamour pusses and very decent normal girls. The very decent normal girls gave very passionate, intense and sincere lap dances at a fair price. The glamour pusses kept your interest peaked through their beauty. There was something for everyone at this club. I had a great time, too bad the moral hypocrites ruined it. Where are crooked cops when you need them? They are a fact of life where I live, why should Florida be any different? It's disgusting but then I guess it's alot easier to harass and clamp down on the harmless sex industry, then go after some organized drug selling crime gang where people could get hurt. Naw, that ain't it either, the graft the police make from the drug trade pays for their summer camps, boats, Harleys, children's tuition and whatever else they desire. Serpico is a myth, an urban legend, like the tooth fairy. I have yet to see a poor cop whether he works any ovedrtime or not, his financial future is secure. So this country continues its descent into hell and I am an unfortunate witness to it all. So much bad is happening in the last 50 years that I won't want to be alive for the next thirty. Censoring strip joints is really a minor point I suppose, when the government has the power to wisk you away in the middle of the night never to be seen again, like some latin american dictatorship, under the guise of patriotism. The Patriot Act is what I'm talking about. I should just stop writing now and try and be a real good Roman Catholic, seek salvation, confess my sins, draw closer to Christ through daily mass and Communion. But I can't. I am weak, especially in matters regarding the flesh. Maybe I'm an addict, I don't think so, but maybe I am. The Doll House is tres cool, even with the authorities turning up the heat it is still worth a visit. It's the best club in the Jacksonville area of Florida, that's for sure.
