Taxi appreciation night mega party Wednesday, 25 August. I guess this is a yearly event at Olympic Garden for the last 4 years. The club had free food from 5 pm to 10 pm and a raffle for 50 inch TVs for taxi and limo drivers. I don’t know if their drinks were free. I paid $10 for my bud light at 7pm. I am not a cab driver. I went there just to see what was going on.

The weekly radio show called Behind the Wheel hosted by a taxi cab driver that calls himself the Cab Man calls Olympic Garden the most cab friendliest Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas. I guess that means no other club in Las Vegas pays more to the cab drivers than Olympic Garden to bring customers there. I think there is a $30 cover for customers that cab drivers bring. I drove myself so there was no cover for me.

It was still light outside when I walked into Olympic Garden at 7pm. It was like walking into a cave. I walked into a waitress that I could not see in front of me and then walked into a table that I could not see before I made it to the bar where there were lights. There were no empty seats at the bar so I stumble back into the darkness and sat at the first seat I came to. They only had small blue lights from the ceiling providing light. A waitress did immediately fine me, which was good. Some times at other clubs, I am approach by 2 or 3 dancers for dances before I see a waitress. It was so dark I did not see the dancer seating almost next to me. After a few minutes, my eyes did adjust. The dancer moved over to me and we started to talk. She said it cost $15 for her to work there during the day and $50 to work there at night. I thought she would have to pay more. She said that maybe 20 dancers were there at this time and the pretties dancers came in later that night. Did she just insult herself?
