This club could just as easily be ranked a 1 depending on what you're looking for. My ranking reflects a nod of approval to what seemed to be an honest to goodness neighborhood club. I went on a Thursday night and the club was full of customers and dancers. Perhaps 50 customers and 25 dancers. I was the only white. Parking was available in a vacant lot (that is owned by the club) across the street. At the entrance I was warmly greeted by a security man/door man and was lightly frisked. There is NO cover charge or parking charge. It is interesting to note that there didn't appear to be any money in this club. Very little tipping. Very few dance purchases. Also of interest is that the club is brightly lit. Music is super loud. There was a pool table. The dancers were generally large. My preference is for small. I did meet a dancer from Angels who was eager to see me, but as luck would have it she was a large dancer. Bought a single FIVE DOLLAR dance from her. An interesting club. It is located between Club Purple Ice and Club Passions on NW 79th Street (all 3 are on the south side of the street) and all three clubs have a different "culture." Definitely worth a visit if you like a neighborhood club with large black women and very low prices.
