I decided to check out the Rhino on Saturday afternoon. The admission and mandatory drink came to $11, not bad even for afternoon, and the dance prices looked reasonable. When I first walked into the club it was so dark that I walked into several chairs making my way to the stage. Once my eyes adjusted I could see that the club itself is fancy. They have obviously spent a lot of money on the club interior. I think the idea is to make it look like a high class Victorian brothel, with little table lamps, over stuffed chairs and pictures of nudes on the wall. Nice, but hardly what I go to a strip club for.
The dancers all seemed young, with none that could be called skinny, and none bigger than rounded. When there were dancers on the stage the shows were quite good; The music was louder than I like, and the lighting was very busy. there were long periods between shows while the club offered two for one couch dances, and three for one in the back room. Since there seemed to be more dancers that customers I'm not sure why the stage had to be empty during those times.
Later in the afternoon the DJ announced the end of two for one dances, so I let one dancer talk me into a topless couch dance. She told me I was allowed to touch her legs, which were vey nice, and she initiated some upper body contact. All in all a rather tame dance. She hinted that there could be more contact in the fantasy room, but I doubted it would be that much more.
