I visited Brad’s on a Wednesday evening with high expectations, since it is currently ranked as the #2 strip club in the country. There is an insane amount of road construction encountered getting into and around Indy. Keep this in mind on your travels. From the outside, Brad’s strangely reminds me of a northern Wisconsin supper club. The parking lot is lit well and there is a security guy out there keeping an eye on the cars. It felt safe. The cover charge was five dollars.

The club is set up so that a long stage with three poles sits in the middle of a large room. Dancers would dance one song at each of the poles. Chairs and tables surround the stage almost the entire way around almost to the point of it being hard to walk around. As the night wore on, most of the club became occupied. The north end of the room has the main bar and restrooms. The south end of the room contains the lapdance room and VIP room. The waitresses were friendly enough; most seemed to be retired dancers or local moms. Beer prices were reasonable, as in $4.75 for a bottle. I did not get a chance to try out the food. The music was mostly pop and rock. The bathrooms were a little dirty but I’ve seen far worse. The clientele was mostly the K-Mart crowd and Bubba Sparxxx wannabes, with a small corp of high rollers picking up the slack.

The club’s dancers were overall very good looking and plentiful. There were about thirty girls working. Most of the girls were 7-10’s, but somehow a few 3-5’s found employment here too. I would say 75% of the ladies on the evening shift were hot. As previous reviewers have mentioned, it can be really hard tracking down a dancer to give you a dance. Most spend their time sitting or dancing with their regulars. You will literally have to chase a girl down if you want to get a dance from her. The cream of the crop do not walk around the club looking for business—only the bottom echelon was actively walking up to customers soliciting. I actually left with lots of money in my pocket due to the fact that the girls I wanted to get dances from were either occupied with regulars or in the dressing room. Of the girls I did sample, the dances were a very good value, even if most did seem to be uninterested and just be going through the motions. Touching was allowed everywhere, except around the snatch. However, I did find one girl that did not want to be touched anywhere except the hips. Lapdances cost $12 per song: $10 to the dancer and $2 to the club. The VIP room was $100 for thirty minutes: the dancer keeps $80 and the club takes $20, I think. Both the lapdance area and the VIP area would get you generally the same service and both offered no privacy. You can visibly see other customers getting dances all around you. The cashier that collects Brad’s house fees watches over the lapdance area, and the house mom constantly walks through the VIP area.
