I had an hour to kill,...
I had an hour to kill, so I decided to stop in at Sassy Red's. Even with the sign out front, you could easily think that this place was a simple hole-in-the-wall biker bar. Walking inside does little to dispel that impression. Sure, there are two stages with a pole along the walls, but the pool tables take up almost as much room as the seating. I had to do a double take before the rather cute bartender welcomed me and get me a drink.
There were four dancers on duty while I was there, ranging from 5-8. I spent some time talking to the delightful Ebony, as talking is about all you can do with the dancers once they are off the stage. Sadly, they have no VIP area or lap/private/couch/bed dances. Between that and the pasties they're required to wear, some of the dancers really put an effort into their routine to make up for it. One such dancer is Demura, a solid 8 and a down-home, Midwestern cutie through-and-through. Not getting to spend some quality, one-on-one lap time with her was a disappointment. I tipped here and the others dancers while they were on stage, but this had to be one of the few times ever that I left with more money than I spent.
