Visited this club with some friends...

Visited this club with some friends for the first time on a Sunday night. $3 cover charge to get in. Inside the club there were three stages - the main stage, and then the hot tub and shower stages that this club always seems to be advertising. Only the main stage was being used when we got there. The private dance area was off to the left as we entered, and it was a sectioned off area with curtains around the entrance which you could not see into from the rest of the club. Drinks were slightly expensive. I think my friend was charged something around $4 for a standard domestic beer. (I know they do have 25 cent beer specials on Mondays, though.) The bartender was really cute, but seemed inexperienced. It took forever to get a drink from her (though there were only one or two other people at the bar), and she was constantly forgetting to charge us for our drinks, etc.

Finally, we went to sit at the stage. One girl in particular was really friendly, and came over during her set to talk to us and make sure we were having fun. A lot of the girls would come over and do a short dance just for you if you tipped them, which was nice! A lot of floor work is done here. I think I only saw one girl get on the pole the entire time we were there (about an hour), but she was so amazing, my mouth was still hanging open after she finished her set.

One thing I do feel compelled to mention is the music. It was awful! All of the songs were obscure songs (i.e. random country music) with incredibly dirty lyrics that no one in their right mind had either heard of, or would want to listen to. The atmosphere also seemed a bit like you could "get away with anything." While we were there, another guy actually went up to the stage and fully dropped his pants. No one said anything to him.

The number one thing I was disappointed with, however, is the dancers. This club had been so hyped up to me for having "the hottest dancers in town," that I guess I was really expecting a lot when I went in. There were a couple hotties, but for the most part, I felt that statement should have been revised to say something like, "the hottest dancers in the town of Eugene, where the standards are not very high." Overall, I might go back in the future, but only after a visit to other clubs in the area, to see what they have to offer. In my opinion, this club is a bit overrated.
