On a recent Saturday night I found myself in Vancouver wanting to watch UFC and when I heard that the No. 5 Orange was offering the fights I thought I wouldn't mind seeing some naked women also. I walked over from my hotel which did take me through some bad areas (nothing too scary but stay aware of your surroundings in this area). The club itself is in an orange three story building right on a corner so it's hard to miss. Cover was $10 which I felt was very reasonable considering it was a fight night. They sold beers right at the door for $6.50. I actually wound up buying beers from the door girl the rest of the night because the waitress service was pretty poor.

I found a seat and begun to watch the stage show. Each set was about 3 songs with the dancer remaining clothed during the first song, getting topless during the second and getting nude during the last song. Between each girl on stage they would do a several song break which was really annoying and only tolerable on this night because they at least put the audio on for the fights. I spent several hours at the club and probably only saw five different women on stage which was unfortunate because there were lots and lots of dancers and many of them were very attractive. Nobody sitting on the stage was really tipping and it seems you can sit there for free.

When a dancer came by and offered me a private dance for $50, I didn't know whether she was joking or whether I should fall out of my chair in shock. Being a tourist and finally finding a girl that was totally my type, I thought I'd at least give the dances a try. Dances take place upstairs and they have nice comfortable couches and a separate sound system. Needless to say the dance area was deserted despite the club itself being packed on a Saturday night. I'm sure the prices of the dances had everything to do with the fact not many people were paying for dances. The dance I got was really, really good and two way touching was encouraged. However, they definitely weren't worth the $50 a song and I won't go back to this club for this very reason.
