Came in on a Friday afternoon...

Came in on a Friday afternoon the other week. CP is one of the nicer clubs on the block--been undergoing some renovation for some time, and the end result is a nice step-up for the club's appeal. Most of the dancers are pretty down to earth and easy to talk to. Had a lot of fun talking to one girl, mostly had drinks together and shot the bull with the bartender. The club is pretty tightly run, and I have never seen any real trouble involving rowdy/obnoxious customers...as with other clubs I've been to. The club is very upbeat and laid back, and most everyone there is welcoming and there to have a good time. Drinks are at the pricier end of the spectrum, but if you have extra cash and are looking for a worthwhile time, this should be a definite stop.
