After reading a review from someone who traveled from Montreal and had good things to say about this place, I had reasonably high hopes. They were not fully justified. It is a very small club. That in itself isn't a bad thing, but if you are looking for a bar where you can spend some semi-private time with a dancer, this isn't it. When you walk in, there are pool tables to your left, the bar and dj booth fill the center of the room, then at the far side is a very small stage surrounded by a handful of tables. There was no one on stage. There was no one sitting near the stage. I did see a couple of dancers sitting and talking to customers at the bar, but that was it. I decided to kill some time by using the restroom (not well looked after - another bad sign) and when I came back out the scene had of course not changed. I sat at the bar and grabbed a beer. I had what I must say was a very pleasant chat with a nicely curvy blonde from Montreal but man, there was no energy in the place whatsoever, no vibe, no excitement, and so I passed on her offer of a dance, and left before even finishing my beer.

My dancer rating is no reflection of the one with whom I was chatting, but rather because there was no one actually dancing on stage!

I don't know if I caught it on a bad night, but it was dead, dead, dead. And this was around 10:00 on a Saturday night.
