I lived in the Lou for about 10 years, now just visit 3-4 times per year. Sports offers a wider variety of experiences than most clubs. First, you actually can watch sports on 2 huge screens and a dozen small TVs, usually tuned to a variety of games. They'll put an out of town game on for us tourists if asked. Second, the food is pretty good. You can avoid paying the cover if you are going to eat lunch there. Third, some good variety in dancers, unless you're looking for nonwhite. Many different ages, sizes, shapes, on both the day and night shifts. Always at least 6 dancers, and usually 10-20 during regular times (30+ on Friday/Saturday nights). You can sit at the bar and be left alone if you want (tho why would you want that?) Waitresses are usually very efficient, occasionally bordering on pushy, but not much. Privates are usually predictably good/very good, but almost no dancers do any extras. The regular private dances require a stupid wristband; the private rooms for 30 or 60 minutes are expensive, but can be worthwhile with the right dancer.
