I've reviewed the Sundowner a couple of times before, but I'll update my reviews because I had the opportunity to spend a very substantial amount of time here over a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday earlier this week. My many hours spent in the 'Downer only confirm what I have previously written--this place is amazing, and if you are not looking for serious extras I think this has to be the best club in North America. Unlike the previous reviewer, I saw no signs that the place is going downhill--indeed they were doing some cosmetic renovation work on the club during the days I was there. Yes, it is "older" and still feels a bit run down overall, but there is absolutely nothing here that feels "gross", the area is perfectly safe (I stayed in one of the rundown hotels not far away and walked home each night and felt 100% safe all the time, I even ate the buffet lunch two days running with no ill effects (and the food was decent...). The girls? Still amazing. I actually thought there were fewer Eastern Europeans that in previous visits--I did meet one group of five Hungarians and one Russian, but most of the girls were either from Ontario or French Canadian. Looks? Many, many 7-9s, and very few in the 4-6 range--of course tastes vary. Attitudes? Friendly, will chat for a few minutes before asking for a dance, and are almost always fine when you say "no thanks"--the best part of the whole visit (besides seeing my ATF for a quality two hours in the private dance area) was spending about an hour giving a girl a leg and back massage in the back during a very, very quite mid-afternoon on Monday. Just awesome! If you've never been, just go already!! Whisper is a new favorite, and Natasha gave me an amazing dance...
