After my spectacular first visit to this club, the previous review, a few weeks back, I decided to make another Wednesday evening jaunt to Zooks. This visit turned to be quite different from my previous experience here. The service and the layout were still accomodating, but the selection of dancers was disgusting.

There were only five girls working and four customers. All five girls were in the 1-3 range. The lineup was: a chubby Latina, a fat black girl with a mole on her face, a ugly chainsmoker covered in birthmarks, a saggy-titted dancer that looked to be 43 years old, and a out-of-shape white girl that clung to her regular, a Japanese businessman, the whole time. After sitting through the rotation once and hoping that a decent looking dancer was lurking in the back, I left. I wasted thirty minutes of my time. I spent about $15: one beer and a few sympathy dollars thrown on stage. The rest of my funds would be parted with at Greektown Casino. There was no Tiger's game going on downtown that evening. That may have been the reason the 7-9's didn't come to dance at Zooks.

This place is worth trying again, but I'll make sure there is some kind of sporting event or concert going on downtown. The hotter girls seem to work at the Bouzouki Club when there are people coming into the downtown.
