Stopped in for the first time...

Stopped in for the first time in a while on a Wednesday night. It was a little early but not too much so. I have to say, I was kind of let down. The club was still clean, but it looks a little worn in places. As was mentioned by a dancer, a close look at the front lapdance room reveals worn upholstery and holes in some of the seats. The maintenance needs to be upped a bit. Drinks were cheap, though, with $2 domestics and rail mixers, so I wasn't that upset.

Nonetheless, you go for the dancers and I have to say that the talent level at Silk has gone down. There were a couple nice, sweet girls there, but none that really flipped my lid. I got dances from three different women -- a blonde, a latina, and a girl with a unique, Eastern European look that I was surprised didn't use an accent. The best dance was from the blonde, but even she didn't utilize that much contact. I wonder if they've told the dancers to use less contact now or something. I used to get rockin' dances two years ago.

One dancer sat next to me and chatted me up for five minutes. I wasn't all that interested. When I decided to politely move on, she asked me to tip her. When I gave her one dollar, she said, "I spend 15 minutes with you and I get one dollar?" I gave her another in the hope she'd just be quiet and stop her exaggeration. "Two dollars?" I walked away and she walked straight to a bouncer to gripe. Uy.
