another club that i've been interested...

another club that i've been interested in visiting despite the recent low ratings. i noticed that the ratings up to early 2007 were higher than they've been since and this club hasn't been rated for awhile.

so i finally took the long drive out to check it out for myself a few days ago. 5 dollar cover and they have one of those driver's license scanning devices. i didn't like the idea of that but i produced my id and let him scan it. when asked the doorman couldn't answer why they have that procedure.

after entering and getting a beer i found a seat in the middle of the club. i saw 5 dancers, a thin sickly looking black girl and 4 white girls with floppy stomachs. one of the white girls was stocky with dyed platnium blonde hair, alot of tattoos, and a bad fake boob job. none of them caught my eye and were worth spending money on imo. i was approached by 2 of the dancers, 1 just came up and asked if i wanted a dance and i told her no and the other sat to talk for awhile. out of curiousity i asked her about dance prices and she said they were 15 dollars per dance. the dance area was a small line of cubicles that didn't look like they would provide much privacy. they were on one wall in the main room and right in front of the dj booth and i noticed that the dj could look right down the aisle of cubicles to keep an eye on things. also the walls of the cubicles weren't very high so that someone standing near or walking by could peer over the top, better than being totally out in the open but not a good setup imo.

the customers were mostly good ol boy types, a couple older farmer looking guys, and some mexicans that just sat at the stage drinking their beers.

the stage was big but the club was dark so you couldn't really see much of the stage dancing from my vantage point, not that i really wanted to anyway.
