I have been going to NY Dolls now and then for well over a year now. It is one of the highest quality clubs in NYC. There used to be a coupon which could be printed from the web that would allow you to bypass the cover, which recently increased from $10 to $15.

The place is medium sized with a nice layout - there is a full liquor bar in the front, with two "poles" and girls dancing. It's not topless in the front area so if you like you can hang out there, get your own drinks and avoid the cover which only kicks in when you move to the topless area in the rear.

Now on to the girls - there are many of them, many of there are fine as heck, and many of them are Russian but there are also some Latin, a few Black, few Eastern Euro, and a few American White chicks. Oh, and some Asians. Basically, something for everyone. The Lap Dances are generally pretty good to awesome, so if you get a corny one start observing the other chicks to see what they're workin' with.
