Went to Scarlett's tonight. WOW...

Went to Scarlett's tonight. WOW this place sucks and is dead. They are now charging $20 for entrance and NOT doing the $2 pieces of paper for tips that they used to do. It is no longer "free" anymore. They close at 12am. I was there at 9:30 and there were maybe 12-15 customers and about 5-6 dancers. This place holds maybe 75 people and with only 15 it was real dead. Usually this place is real smokey. But, you need people in the place for it to be smokey. The girls were mostly black or spanish. Saw only one blond who had no business being in a strip club. But then again, it is Scarlett's. I really debated going in, and I wish I would've reconsidered. None of the girls were walking around. Instead, they chose to gather together in one spot to talk unless they were on stage. The dancers obviously weren't making a lot of money and the guys at the stage seemed just as thrilled as if they were at the Dentist office. I then got out of there and went to Erv's. Wow what a difference. Many girls. Many customers and clearly the best club in the area. I was at Scarlett's a few months back and it wasn't good. But this time hit an all new low. It felt like a funeral home in there. Maybe this was all symbolic of the real fact that this place has died and either needs to close or get a re-do.
