I was in San Diego this...

I was in San Diego this week for a short visit, and dropped into Cheetahs on Wednesday night (at about 7 or 8, and stayed about two hours). For non-members it's $18 to get in, which includes two drinks (everything's non-alcoholic). It's reasonably clean, with a mostly unremarkable (somewhat friendly) atmosphere. I imagine it must feel cramped on a busy night. There was one big stage open (20+ seats immediately around it), though the seating is well back from the dancers (not even close enough to leave tips where they can reach them). The rest of the club started out pretty quiet, but got more crowded toward 10:00 or so. There is another stage which presumably stays unused on off nights. Music and DJ are unobtrusive. Lap dances cost $20 a song (in a shared room for 1-4 dances, private booths for 5 or more). Avoid the ATM and its $6 fee.

The dancers are above average (to my tastes). They do sets of two songs, almost always first topless and second nude. I was delighted that the vast majority had natural breasts. They do well on the attractiveness scale, though many are pushy about lap dance invitations, refusing to take a polite "no" or "net yet" for an answer once or several times. I highly recommend a lap dance from Kaiya... she is fantastic!

I would return if I'm in the area again.
