As someone who has visited the Playhouse about 10 times spanning the last several years, and has visited many other clubs of all sizes and shapes, I would say that in general, the Playhouse is not as good as it used to be, but is still above average overall. When I was there on a Monday afternoon in early June, there were about 10 girls working, but only 2 that I would even consider having a private dance with. One of them, a blonde Brazilian with very large natural breasts, asked me and I accepted. There was decent contact, but nothing better than you get at most Philadelphia-area strip clubs. Certainly not like it used to be, when the first thing a dancer would do (or undo) is your pants. A private dance used to be a guaranteed HJ. That didn't happen, and there was no grabbing outside the pants either. But she let me have a grand old time with her huge jugs, which I have to say was the only saving grace of the dance. The private rooms are still among the best you'll find in terms of privacy and value, and a good time can be had. My work often takes me from Philadelphia to North Jersey, and I would usually stop by PH on the way home, by taking a diversion off the NJ Turnpike at the PA Turnpike exit, and then heading down Rte. 130 South. As one other reviewer recently posted, I'm not sure it's worth a special trip/diversion to get to this place anymore, as it's a little out of the way. I'll probably keep it in the rotation just for the sake of reminiscing, and to monitor the situation. Here's hoping it eventually returns to its full glory. In its hey day, I certainly had the best experiences at PH for the best value that I've had anywhere.
