It's been about five months since...

It's been about five months since I reviewed this place, but not much seems to have changed, really. I've been dropping in, on and off, in the intervening time. I'd have to say that right now it definitely feels like "slow season" since fewer girls are working. You can get some very private sessions in the VIP rooms, and there's a 3-songs-for-$100 lap-dance rate that's pretty reasonable relative to most of New Orleans' prices, especially at all the "main" Bourbon Street clubs. The drinks are high-priced, but not really super-high, by NOLa standards. When going upstairs, I've found, that although here are some women who will pretty much "make sure" that the finish happens upstairs, there's really not anybody who can or will guarantee any level of service other than whatever might get done fully clothed. So, it's not really a super-duper-excellent good time upstairs, and it's not really misleading, but it's a disappointment, and most of the girls are really willing to be close, interpersonal, and all girlfriendsy-boyfriendsy, if that's what you're into. My understanding is that straight across the street there are some seriously high-service gals, but I can't confirm from personal experience. This is still a nice time, perhaps the nicest among the Bourbon Street clubs. If you want a more reasonably priced strip club experience I really recommend that, instead of Bourbon Street, you head out to New Orleans East to Visions, but if you're stuck in the French Quarter then I guess this is one of your best bets. I'd also recommend Penthouse (newly rediscovered, recommended, and reviewed by me!) and, for a worse time, but maybe skankier, Lipstixx and Barely Legal. Kind of. I've been to Tampa, Toronto, Memphis, Houston, etc., so I can't say I "recommend" this club to anyone who has anything to compare to. But, relative to other clubs in New Orleans, I'd have to say this is among the best. Nicely attentive staff, clean, friendly, all that stuff. My numbers from the drop-down menus, for this review, are meant to reflect my over-all impression, after visiting at every time period on every day of the week.
