Savannah's was alright. I went...
Savannah's was alright. I went there about two months ago. It's a little off the beaten track, but easy enough to find. The building is attractive and well lit from the outside. Inside, it's a fine looking place. The bar is especially nice and the drinks are reasonably priced. There's a wide screen tv along the wall for sports enthusiasts, and the room is quite spacious. My one quibble is with the layout of the stages. Dancers enter onto the lower stage, which is surrounded by comfortable chairs. They dance a single song there, and then proceed to the upper stage, where the top comes off for a second song. The problem is, there are only about three seats with decent proximity to the upper stage. Now, if I'm going to lay tips on the floor for the dancers, I want a closeup of the dancer's goodies, and that's just not easy to find on the upper stage! This is both a design flaw and a programming problem, and I think the management should try to correct it. I just felt like I wasn't getting to see enough.
The dancers were mostly quite attractive--I'd say above average for a strip club--and they were very personable without being too pushy about getting you to go for a private dance. Pricing for private dances is reasonable ($20 for a single song) but my girl started in the middle of one and ended in the middle of the other, and I couldn't help feeling that I got shortchanged there. Song lengths should be somewhat uniform, in my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed Savannah's, and would consider returning again next time I'm in Harrisburg.
