Visited Pure Platinum on Pacific Hwy...

Visited Pure Platinum on Pacific Hwy a little after 1 pm on a weekday. It is a pretty large club, 2 stages, a bar, and many seats. A few couches off to one side for dances. The place was quiet when I visited(=empty...and I mean completely, except for a DJ and bartender). After a few minutes, a couple of dancers wandered out. By 2 pm there were 4 girls total, ranging from 3-7. Pretty nice individual attention, plenty of conversation, and not much pressure for a dance, which was nice. Dances were $20, no touching, light contact. Not horrible for San Diego, but nothing to write home about. Only real plusses are proximity to downtown and no cover until 6 pm (then it's $8). Full bar, generous with the alcohol, but that seems like an inadequate reason to visit! My recommendation -> if you don't want to cross the border, try Cheetah's.
