On my last trip to the Holiday area I had stopped at Players in the afternoon and found it sadly wanting. I expressed my disappointment to the daytime doorman, particularly wrt the absent Cassidy, and he told me that were “plenty of good looking women on nights.” So this time around I dropped in on a Thursday evening. The best thing about this visit was there was no cover charge. There were not “plenty of good looking women.” There were not plenty, and the best looking one weighed about 175. I don’t mean to denigrate the ladies at all, but they were of an age and appearance where they would more appropriately be employed waiting tables at Denny’s than getting naked in public.
