I was in chicagoland for business...

I was in chicagoland for business and was basically found myself in Bridgeview after some meetings. It was still fairly early-around 6pm. This club is in quite light industrial area of bridgeview. It seems pretty safe and is not too far from the interstate. They were advertising beer specials. The parking lot was less than half full and there was plenty of parking. I pulled in and got out of the car. As I was walking to the entrance, an attendant came out me and said that all parking was valet and that it was five dollars. Since I was already parked I offered to pay the five dollars. The attendant assisted that I had to pay AND leave my keys with him. Since I had my suit coat, briefcase, and business documents and the car was a rental, I said no thanks. He pointed out that there was parking on the street. I did not want to park on the street (there was not a lot of space on the shoulder), I basically left. It annoyed me that they wanted me to leave them my keys eventhough I was not blocking anyone or could block anyone. I do not know if I will ever be back at this club. It does look fairly nice, from the outside. One of the girls walking in as this all was happening was cute too.
