I stopped by this club on...

I stopped by this club on Tuesday evening last week. There was no cover, and drinks were not prohibitively expensive ($6-10). The girls were beautiful, and the club compares favorably to the other primarily-black clubs in DC (Louis Rogue and The House) - as long as you are not claustrophobic.

As other reviewers have noted, the club is very small about the size of a large living room + bar. However, even on a Tuesday night, they had two girls dancing on each of the two stages at all times, with maybe 15 friendly, well-proportioned, nearly-nude girls milling around waiting their turn and socializing with patrons. So unlike the House - which might have the same number of dancers, but spread out over five times the space - at Macombo, you are never more than six inches away from some beautiful T&A.

The only caveat of course is that this is DC, so there are no laps and only limited physical contact with the dancers (at best). The upside of this is that your only expenses are drinks and dancer stage tips, which makes for a relatively enjoyable evening without breaking the bank.
