My! Oh my!! Bogart’s is a real treat and I mean that in a complimentary manner. After reading so many reviews on this place, I had to go. So, on one sticky, hot summer afternoon, I floated in at about 1:30 P.M.

It is just like a neighborhood bar with a somewhat dirty, homey look. Very unpretentious bar and I love unpretentious. Of course, one doesn’t usually find almost naked women dancing on a stage at the local neighborhood bar. There were some lovelies on this afternoon.

Service was great. The $5.00 cover and $6.75 beers are fine by me because I was smiling the whole time, happy to finally have the Bogarts experience. I did not sample the food. Maybe next time…

Now to the dancers…I was forced to tip one and simultaneously point to the WeightWatchers commercial on the TV as she really needs to get in that program. Having said that, there were also a couple 7-8’s and the rest were middle of the road women. What road you ask? Well, I’ll say you wouldn’t kick them out of bed, but just keep the lights low so you don’t have to see too much. This is exactly what I expected here based on reading many of the other reviews.

Now for the VIP room, or whatever it’s called here. You’ll be happy to learn that the management has made some improvements over what you’ve read in other reviews. They have put up a couple of partitions so the ‘VIP’ is not solely one open room now. The cubicle, I’ll call it, is pretty small, but it worked for me. Enjoyed the experience with something resembling privacy..and, yes, extras are available.
