I've stopped at the Trop probably...

I've stopped at the Trop probably close to 20 times over the years. It's usually when I'm driving by as I live east on U.S. 56, many times on the way home from a game in Manhattan.

The place is kind of a hole, but they've actually cleaned it up in the last few years and put some fans in to move around the air to make it more tolerable.

The Trop has a reputation as a near brothel. I have never taken enough money in to test that reputation. Many of the nights I've visited, there hasn't been any strippers I particularly wanted to see naked much less get nasty with.

That's the thing about the Trop. Often, you look at the stage and think "For the love of God don't take off your clothes," but occasionally there will be an absolute stunner. And if you're not one of the regulars, the babe will likely approach you because you look more like money than rubes.

If so, the stripper will ask you to buy entry into the curtained coach room. Dances are $20, and many have said more is available. Again, I've never tested that assertion.
