It had been a long, long time -- probably 3 or 4 years -- since I'd ventured into the Den, but very little had changed. It's still very dark and very small. Long ago, this was absolutely my favorite spot for daytime entertainment. There were always plenty of girls and some were pretty hot. For some reason, things really went downhill in a hurry, though. My favorites left and I wasn't exactly excited about (or by) their replacements. I stopped in this week just to see whether time had healed the place. To some extent, it had.

I stayed for close to an hour, so I saw one full round of stage dances. There were six girls dancing -- all but one in the 5-6 range. The other was an 8. Very cute thin brunette. I didn't get a chance to talk with her because she was (understandably) busy doing long LD sessions with a couple of guys, but she would be worth going back for. The club itself wasn't really that busy. While I was there, there were never more than 5 customers. One of the girls I talked with said business usually picked up until around 5 p.m. (I was there from 2 to 3 p.m.)

Dancer drinks run $10 and the waitress is damned determined that you buy some. She's at your table the second a dancer sits down with you. In fact, she was at my table one time even BEFORE the girl managed to sit. That was annoying. Fortunately, the waitress will take no for an answer.
