I finally broke down and went...

I finally broke down and went to Kahoots this afternoon for about an hour. The dancers were mediocre at best though I did have a pleasnt time with one of them. Had two mixed drinks (didn't want to smell to bad when I went back to work) at $6 each. Had one dance with a newer dancer who said she'd only been in the business for about a month. Decent conversation though I felt I had to do most of the prompting to get her to talk. The one dance I had time for went well and if I hadn't had to leave, I surely would have had more. $30 a dance still seems very high considering how much they cut down the song time. I'll visit occasionally but the SCs in columbus are just too expensive to make it a habit.
