Stepping into this place is like...

Stepping into this place is like stepping into dog doo. This is a fairly small, local place on Route 20. The bar is clean in physical appearance, the parking is ok, and the location is easy to get to. That's about the only good things you could say about this dive. What really floors you is the negative attitude that you encounter here. The temperature always seems to be thirty degrees cooler inside than out. I'm not talking out the A/C, I'm talking about the indifference and callousness which boarders on outright hostility. The negativity is persistant and pervasive from the doorman, waitstaff, and dancers.

The quality to the dancers is highly varied. They'll put any girl, and you can emphasize any, on stage. Which leads to a sort of pot-luck stew that some people, such as I, find endearing and prefer to the homogenity of the parade of perfect tens at the highly polished clubs. The problem here is that they have absolutely no standards whatsoever and will put anyone with a pussy and two legs on stage. You'll find attactive girls here, but it's purely the luck of the draw. Some nights it's more like watching the freak show at a circus than a striptease. Perhaps, that's the reason this sty stays in business; there used to be two Lamp's in Worcester but they couldn't keep the other one going.
