The Acrop is not a posh...
The Acrop is not a posh establishment. If yougo in with that central factin mind you'll be fine. If you go in expecting a Vegas experience you'll be disipointed big time. Go in for cheap food ( which is good for the price but not that good in and of itself ) and cheap beer (which will get you just as drunk as expensive beer ) and average priced dances and you'll be ready to have a good time.
The dancers themselves tend toward the alternative look with quite a few tats and piercings ( although not as much as at the Union Jack in downtown ) so if you're into that look that'll be a bonus too. They are pretty friendly and will often talk with you if you buy them a drink or too. I think they make most of their money from the stage shows because I didn't see many private dances being given. Maybe that was just the time of day though. None of the dancers I saw were really memorable. Private dances are the standard $20 per song and are It dances in a quasi private area that anyone can look into if they really want to.
The Acrop is best suited as a place to have some cheap beers and steaks with friends that just happens to have naked women in it.
