My girl and I stopped in...

My girl and I stopped in last night with some free VIP passes we received from a friend and we were hoping to have a better time than we did on our last visit about a year ago, but unfortunately it just did not deliver. When you have a better experience with security and the door girl who takes your admission than you do in the club itself, that’s not a good sign!

We came in around 10pm and wanted to find a table we could sit at and relax. We opted for a booth at first but found quickly that each one had a “Reserved” placard in place, so we were restricted to a wobbly table up front. The first girl we saw perform was someone named “Roz”. We’ve seen a lot of dancers in our time and she was one of the more attractive performers that evening, but her attitude on stage sucked. She seemed bored and listless and had this disgusted look on her face throughout her set like she would have rather of been somewhere else. She walked back and forth on the stage with no enthusiasm at all and despite how beautiful she was, it was almost painful to watch her perform. My girl went up front for some personal attention and Roz barely earned that dollar. She danced for all of about 15 seconds, took the bill and resumed her patrol on the stage. I hate to say it, but I was kind of relieved to see someone new up there after that display.

Shortly after that, a large group of overly testosterone-charged guys came in celebrating a bachelor party. This is usually a fun spectacle for us to watch because guys in general just get stupid in large groups - especially when there are half-naked women parading around them, but for some reason, they were seated right next to us (why not at any of the reserved tables?) and their raucous behavior - though not a complete disturbance - really took away from our enjoyment of the evening. Every girl that came out bolted straight for this group of guys and we felt like we were getting cheated out of the attention we were there for as well. Had we paid to get in, I would have been annoyed.
