My girl and I were impressed...

My girl and I were impressed by our last (and our first) visit to Kahoots, so we decided to drop in again last night to see if we'd be wowed again and we definitely were not disappointed. The venue was pretty busy, but we were well taken care of. We went into the main show room and found some seats at the front of the "stage" where we spent the next couple of hours having drinks, tipping the dancers and just doing the normal club thing. One of the things that really impressed me was the waitress who greeted us as we entered remembered who we were from our first visit a few weeks back and took very good care of us throughout the night. Definitely made us feel comfortable coming through the door.

Because my girl knows a lot of the dancers from her time working as a bartender at Dockside Dolls and Dreamgirls (and because she's smoking hot), a lot of her dancer friends came over to say hi and we got some special attention from them which was nice. She ended up getting more attention last night than I did (which is fine with me), but I would have to say to those girls that I'm sitting right next to her with money on the rail, so it seems to me that if they paid a little more attention, they might make a little more money! I'd slip some bills under their straps if they really impressed me while dancing on my girl - which happened fairly often, so like I said, it was fine with me!

My only complaints about Kahoots is that the "stage" area isn't really a stage. It's basically just a short wall that wraps around a dance floor with seats in front of it. It's a clever layout, but it would look so much better if we could see the girls in their entirety when they're performing. If you're sitting in a chair up front and a dancer drops to the floor, you literally lose sight of her unless you're looking at her reflection in the mirrored walls on the inside of the dancing area. I suppose they need that extra 2 feet of room for all the pole tricks they do, but like I said, it cuts the dancers in half from the floor level and isn't one of the more appealing aspects of the club.
