I had a free afternoon so...

I had a free afternoon so I went on a tour of my favorite Detroit clubs. Didn't spend long in each, but got at least one dance and checked out the situation. I started at 12 at the Landing Strip, moved to the Playhouse just after 1, then made it to the Flight Club by 2:30. In general, things were slow. Here's a review of each club.

Landing Strip - Pull into the parking lot at noon and the attendant takes your car. Big sign says parking is $6. No cover as you go up the stairs and into the club. When I got there the review was just starting and there were 8 dancers on stage. Mostly young and thin, with a lot of ink. Had a beer at the bar ($4 before 2, then $6.75 (I think)), and was approached by 2 dancers (roommates). The first was young and blonde, 5' tall, very well developed. Got a couple of dances from her and they were very nice. Nothing too exciting, but nice. Got a couple of dances from her roommate - also nice, just not quitte as nice as the previous dancer. No extras offered or asked for. Dances are $25.
